ISTANBUL (AA) – Almost three weeks into the Israel-Palestine conflict, Israel continues to pound Gaza with airstrikes including the latest attack on a Greek Orthodox Church.


- The fighting

GAZA CITY

  • Eight people were killed and several others injured in an Israeli attack on the Greek Orthodox Church in Gaza, says WAFA.
  • Israeli planes bomb Al-Omari Mosque in the northern Gaza Strip, completely destroying it.

  • Israeli planes bombs six residences in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, killing and injuring dozens.

  • Israeli army uses artillery to attack Bureij camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

WEST BANK

  • Israeli forces storm Ramallah and Al-Bireh from several fronts, according to WAFA news agency.
  • Israeli army carries out several attacks in the West Bank, including Nour al-Shams refugee camp.
  • At least 12 people were killed by Israeli forces during attacks on the camp.


- Israel-Lebanon clashes

  • Israel claims to have targeted an Hezbollah cell in southern Lebanon.
  • Israeli military helicopters target 'a cell with three gunmen preparing to launch missiles towards Israel.'
  • Six journalists rescued out of nine people stranded on Lebanese side of the border with Israel because of Israel’s continuous firing, says media.

RIYADH

  • Attacks on Gaza are 'heinous,' Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman tells British Premier Rishi Sunak during a meeting in Riyadh.

  • He called attacks on civilians "heinous" and warned of "dangerous repercussions" if the conflict escalated, Saudi state media reported.

BRUSSELS
