Kremlin says US to inform Russia about results of US-Ukraine talks in Saudi Arabia

MOSCOW (AA) - The Kremlin spokesman said on Tuesday that Washington will inform Moscow about the outcome of its ongoing talks with Kyiv in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

"Today, American and Ukrainian officials are meeting in Jeddah. In some way, the American side, which is exploring paths to a peaceful (Moscow-Kyiv) settlement, will inform us," Dmitry Peskov said at a press briefing in Moscow.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Adviser Mike Waltz are meeting on Tuesday with senior Ukrainian officials, led by Andriy Yermak, a top aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in Saudi Arabia.

Ahead of the talks, Zelenskyy pledged that Ukraine’s position "will be absolutely constructive."
