La Liga: Barcelona suffer shock loss to Granada at home

ANKARA (AA) - Barcelona suffered a major blow in the title race of the Spanish league after losing to Granada at home on Thursday.

Lionel Messi gave a 1-0 lead to the home side but the visitors came from behind to beat Barcelona 2-1 with Darwin Machis and Jorge Molina's goals in the second half at Camp Nou.

Barcelona missed a chance to reach top of La Liga with this loss.

Atletico Madrid are top of the table with 73 points, followed by Real Madrid and Barcelona as each have 71 points with five matches remaining.
