Barcelona win 5-1 at home in La Liga match, restore their 3-point lead against Real Madrid

Polish football star Robert Lewandowski and Spain's Pablo Torre scored twice each as Spanish leaders Barcelona hammered Sevilla 5-1 in a Sunday La Liga match at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.

In addition to Lewandowski and Torre, Pedri was on the scoresheet for Barcelona as the hosts restored their three-point lead against Real Madrid in the league standings.

Belgian midfielder Stanis Idumbo Muzambo scored for Sevilla while Barcelona were on a 4-1 lead.

Hansi Flick's Barcelona, which have 27 points in 10 matches, will visit bitter rivals Real Madrid in next weekend's El Clasico on Saturday.

Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 2-1 on Saturday as Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior were the scorers for the Whites.
