Mohamed Salah overtakes Frank Lampard to become 6th top scorer in Premier League history with 178 goals

ANKARA (AA) — Liverpool cemented the English Premier League top spot with Mohamed Salah's double salvo against Bournemouth in the week 24 game, which ended 2-0 on Saturday.
Salah, who netted twice, from a penalty kick in the 30th minute and with a left-footed shot in the 75th minute at Vitality Stadium, overtook Chelsea legend Frank Lampard to become the sixth top scorer in Premier League history with 178 goals.
At the top of the Premier League, Liverpool are nine points in front of Arsenal.
Bournemouth lay in the seventh spot with 40 points.
- Nottingham Forest trash Brighton 7-0
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest thrashed Brighton and Hove Albion 7-0.
After English defender Lewis Dunk drew first blood in the 12th minute, midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White netted the second goal of the hosts in the 25th minute at Nottingham's the City Ground.
New Zealander forward Chris Wood, who scored the third goal in the 32nd minute, also scored in the 64th and 69th minutes to complete his hat-trick.
The other goals of the home team were scored by Welsh defender Neco Williams in the 89th minute and by Portuguese forward Jota Silva in the 91st minute.
Nottingham Forest are ranked third with 47 points, while Brighton lay at the 10th spot with 34 points.
