Mayweather vs. Paul boxing fight ends in tie

ANKARA (AA) - American YouTuber Logan Paul on Sunday survived in an eight-round exhibition fight in boxing against five-time world champion Floyd Mayweather as they tied in Miami, Florida.

"I don't want anyone to tell me anything is impossible ever again. The fact that I'm in here with one of the best boxers of all times proves the odds can be beat," Paul said after the match.

Mayweather, 44, praised his 26-year-old opponent for his endurance.

"He's better than I thought he was," Mayweather said. "He's a tough, rough competitor ... I was surprised by him tonight," the former boxing star added.

Mayweather is considered to be one of the boxing legends, winning all the 50 professional games that he appeared in his whole career. He last fought professionally in 2017, when he defeated Irish MMA star Conor McGregor.

Paul is a YouTuber who has at least 23 million subscribers as of June 2021.
