Montenegro forward Djurdjevic tests positive for COVID-19
27-year-old unable to play in World Cup qualification match against Turkey

ANKARA (AA) - Montenegro forward Uros Djurdjevic tested positive for COVID-19, the national football federation announced on Tuesday.
Djurdjevic, who has not been vaccinated against coronavirus, will now be unavailable for the upcoming World Cup qualification match against Turkey.
Two other Montenegro players, Nebojsa Kosovic and Adam Marusic, also tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 13, and will not be included in the squad.
Turkey would face Montenegro in the FIFA World Cup qualifying Group G match later in the day.
Turkey are ranked second with 18 points on goal difference, Norway third, while Montenegro are on No. 4 with 12 points.
