Napoli miss chance to cement Serie A top spot by drawing 1-1 with Roma

Napoli missed the chance to cement their Italian Serie A top spot by drawing 1-1 with Roma in a week 23 clash Sunday.

Napoli relied on Italian defender Leonardo Spinazzola's goal, which brought the lead to the visitors in the 29th minute, for most of the match at Stadio Olimpico.

Spanish defender Angelino's late equalizer in the 92nd minute saved one point for Roma.

Napoli remain at the top of the league standings with 54 points, while Roma are in ninth spot with 31 points.
