Over 370 refugees, migrants held in northwest Turkey
Afghan, Pakistani, Iraqi, Syrian, Bangladeshi, Myanmar nationals held while trying to get into Europe illegally

EDIRNE, Turkey (AA) - Turkish security forces held 373 refugees and undocumented migrants who were trying to cross into Europe illegally, a security source said Tuesday.
The group, which comprised of Afghan, Pakistani, Iraqi, Syrian, Bangladeshi, Myanmar and Palestinian nationals, was held in Turkey's northwestern Erdine province, bordering Greece and Bulgaria, said the source on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
The foreign nationals have been referred to the migration management authorities, the source added.
Turkey has been a main route for refugees trying to cross into Europe since especially the beginning of the civil war in Syria.
