Razgatlioglu eyes 3rd place in Superbike Championship

ANKARA (AA) - Turkish motorcyclist Toprak Razgatlioglu is eyeing to finish third in 2019 Superbike World Championship in Qatar.

Kawasaki team's motorcyclist Razgatlioglu currently stands in the fifth spot with 299 points ahead of the last race of the competition.

He is currently six points behind motorcyclist Alex Lowes, who is on third position in the standing, and still have a chance to finish this year's championship in third place.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Razgatlioglu said he aims to complete this year in third place in the championship.

“I'll do my best for the next race. I have completed my trainings and now ready to race. I reached the podium in my last three races. I want to finish third in the standings of the championship,” he added.

The 13th race of the 2019 Superbike World Championship will take place in Qatar's Doha between Oct. 24 and 26.

Top five motorcyclist in the standings are as follows ahead of the last race:

1. Jonathan Rea - 601 points

2. Alvaro Bautista - 460

3. Alex Lowes - 305

4. Van Der Mark - 304

5. Toprak Razgatlioglu - 299
