Real Madrid reach EuroLeague final by beating Barcelona 78-66

ANKARA (AA) - Spanish basketball club Real Madrid reached the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final by beating Barcelona 78-66 in the semifinal match on Friday.

Walter Tavares led Los Merengues to victory with 20 points at Zalgirio Arena in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Alex Abrines was the top-scoring player on the field for Barcelona with 16 points.

Record holder Real Madrid will take on Greek club Olympiacos Piraeus in the EuroLeague final for their 11th title, while Barcelona will face Monaco for the third place.

Both games will be held on Sunday.
