Real Madrid's Bellingham named LaLiga's best player, Girona's Michel awarded best coach of 2023 - 24 season

The Spanish LaLiga on Wednesday named Real Madrid's English star Jude Bellingham the best player of the 2023 - 24 season.

The 20-year-old scored 19 goals to go along with six assists in 28 LaLiga appearances to help Los Merengues win the title.

Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz, who guided Girona to 81 points to remain contenders until the last weeks of the season, was awarded best coach.

Barcelona's Yamine Lamal, who had five goals with eight assists in 37 appearances, won the best U23 player award.

Osasuna's Jesus Areso was awarded goal of the season honor for his amazing shot from near the right corner post against Getafe on Jan. 21.

Unai Simon (Athletic Club), Daniel Carvajal (Real Madrid), Ronald Araujo (Barcelona), Antonio Rudiger (Real Madrid), Miguel Gutierrez (Girona); Aleix Garcia (Girona), Ilkay Gundogan (Barcelona), Federico Valverde (Real Madrid), Isco (Real Betis), Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid), Savio (Girona), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona), Artem Dovbyk (Girona) and Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid) were selected for the team of the season.

At the end of the 2023 - 24 season, Real Madrid secured their 36th Spanish LaLiga title with 95 points, followed by Barcelona at 85 points and Girona had 81 points.
