In a message on occasion of Ramadan Friday, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed hope that the Palestinian people can live in peace and stability, as well as all countries.
He made the remarks in a statement addressing Saudi citizens, residents and Muslims worldwide for the holy month of fasting, delivered on his behalf by the Media Minister Salman Al-Dosari.
Salman extended congratulations to all Muslims, praying that Allah grants them success in fasting, night prayers and acts of devotion during the Muslim holy month.
Most Arab countries declared Saturday as the first day of Ramadan after sighting the crescent moon.
Palestinians, especially in the Gaza Strip, are experiencing dire a humanitarian situation following the Israeli genocidal onslaught that reduced the enclave to rubble.
Despite a ceasefire that took effect Jan. 19, the Israeli army is still obstructing the entry of humanitarian, relief and shelter items into Gaza, as residents continue to live in tents and inadequate shelters damaged by the army.
