ANKARA (AA) - Tottenham Hotspur took first place in the English Premier League with a 1-0 win over Watford on Sunday.

A freekick goal by South Korean attacker Son Heung-min in the 43rd minute in London brought the Spurs their third victory in as many matches.

Portuguese manager Nuno Espirito Santo became the first Tottenham manager to win the first three matches of the season in Premier League history.

West Ham United placed second on the Premier League table, while Manchester United placed third, both with 7 points.
