World no.1 Novak Djokovic to meet Alexander Zverev of Germany in men's semifinals

ANKARA (AA) - World no.1 Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat Italian Matteo Berrettini on late Wednesday with the sets of 5-7, 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the US Open semifinals.

He will take on world no. 4 Alexander Zverev of Germany on Friday.

In another men's singles semifinal clash on Friday, Canadian player Felix Auger-Aliassime will face world no.2 Russian Daniil Medvedev.

Moreover, British teenager Emma Raducanu will meet Greek Maria Sakkari – who defeated world no.4 Czech Karolina Pliskova with the sets of 6-4, 6-4 in the quarterfinals – in the women's semifinals on Friday.

Canadian Leylah Annie Fernandez will take on Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus in another women's semifinal game.
