Turkish benchmark stock index opens week in the green
BIST 100 rises nearly 65 points at Monday opening

ANKARA (AA) – Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 7,918.31 points, rising 0.83% or 64.95 points, from the previous close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index closed at 7,853.36 points, down by 0.93% on a daily basis.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 28.7467 as of 09.55 a.m. local time (0655GMT), while the euro/lira rate stood at 31.4059, and a British pound traded for 35.8694 liras.
Brent crude oil was selling for around $81.30 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $1,983.45.
