Turkish clubs spend €33 million during winter window
Total of 152 players were granted license to play in 2020-2021 Turkish Super Lig season, according to Turkish football body

ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish Super Lig clubs have spent 288 million Turkish Liras (€33 million) during the winter transfer window, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said in a Wednesday statement.
A total of 152 players were granted a license to play in the 2020-2021 Turkish Super Lig campaign, TFF added.
“The total cost of these new signings of 21 Super Lig clubs, including players, agents and managers' fees with the compensations, is 288 million Turkish Liras. An average of 13.7 million Turkish Liras was spent per club.“ it said.
The federation added that the clubs have spent 251 million Turkish Liras (€29 million) during last season's winter transfer window for 122 players.
