Turkish Cup: Trabzon stun Erzurum 5-0 in quarterfinals

Trabzonspor take advantageous score as their striker Alexander Sorloth scores 2 goals

ISTANBUL (AA) - Trabzonspor beat Erzurumspor 5-0 in the first leg football match of the Turkish Cup quarterfinals.

At home, Trabzonspor took an advantageous score before the second leg in an away game next week.

Trabzonspor's goals came from Alexander Sorloth in the 16th and 66th minutes, Anthony Nnaduzor Nwakaeme in the 43rd minute, own goals by Merthan Acil in the 60th minute and Yusuf Acer in the 26th minute.

In other quarterfinals on Wednesday, reigning champions of the Turkish Cup, Galatasaray will play against Aytemiz Alanyaspor as Fenerbahce will face third-tier club Kirklarelispor.

On Thursday, Turkish Super Lig leaders Demir Grup Sivasspor will face Antalyaspor.

The second legs are scheduled for Feb. 11-13.
