Turkish top diplomat meets Spanish, UAE counterparts on margins of G-20 event
Cavusoglu thanks counterparts for solidarity after last month’s twin earthquakes in southern Türkiye

ANKARA (AA) - Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday met his Spanish and United Arab Emirates counterparts on the sidelines of a gathering of Group of 20 (G-20) foreign ministers in India’s capital New Delhi.
In a Twitter post, Cavusoglu said he discussed relations including economic cooperation with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He thanked UAE's "earthquake solidarity" after last month’s twin earthquakes in southern Türkiye.
Cavusoglu also held talks with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares and thanked him for Spain's support after the disaster.
"Discussed #NATO enlargement & situation in #Ukraine," he added.
