Türkiye's BIST 100 index ends Thursday up 0.39%

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended day at 10,228.39 points on Thursday, up 0.39%.

Starting the day at 10,315.25 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 39.37 points from Wednesday's close.

The lowest value was 10,180.36, while the daily high was 10,379.27.

The market value of the BIST 100 was around 9.4 trillion Turkish liras ($236.3 billion), with a trading volume of 65 billion Turkish liras ($1.64 billion).

Some 65 stocks on the index rose and 32 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $3,327.80 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $68.15 per barrel as of 6.30 p.m. local time (1530GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 39.8840, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 46.8470, while the British pound traded for 54.4060 Turkish liras.
