ISTANBUL (AA) - The UEFA and beIN Media Group agreed to a rights renewal to broadcast premium club competitions across the Middle East and North Africa until 2024, the Qatari media group announced on Thursday.

The beIN Media Group said in a statement that the deal includes rights to the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, the UEFA Europa Conference League, and UEFA’s premium women’s football competition, and the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

UEFA Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein said it is "another major rights deal for UEFA securing significant funds for the European football pyramid."

Richard Verow, beIN Media Group chief sports officer, said that they look forward to continuing to provide the very best of world sport to subscribers across the Middle East and North Africa, starting with the EURO 2020.

"European football excites and inspires fans like no other sport across the MENA region – and there is simply no better broadcaster in the world to bring UEFA’s content to fans, families, and households across the Arab world," Verow added.

The beIN Media Group, a global sports and entertainment group, will broadcast the UEFA competitions in Arabic, English, and French across all 24 countries of the MENA region, from Morocco in the west to Oman in the east.

It is also the exclusive broadcaster of UEFA national team football tournaments.
