Valencia CF reach final in Copa Del Rey

Bats defeat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in semifinals second leg

ANKARA (AA) - Valencia CF reached the final in Copa Del Rey (Spanish Cup) by defeating Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in the second leg game of the semifinals on Wednesday.

The Bats' winning goal was scored by Portuguese winger Goncalo Guedes in the 43rd minute at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia.

The first leg game between the two sides had ended in a 1-1 draw at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao on Feb. 10.

Valencia's opponent will be determined after the semifinals second leg game between Real Betis and Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in Seville on Thursday.

The first leg match between the two sides was won 2-1 by Betis at the Nuevo Estadio de Vallecas in Madrid on Feb. 9.

The reigning champions Barcelona are the most title winning team with 31 titles in the Copa Del Rey.
