Warriors, Bucks advance to conference semis after Game 5 wins
Reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks pass Bulls with 116-100 with Giannis' 33 points; Golden State Warriors eliminate Nuggets as Curry drops 30

ANKARA (AA) - The reigning NBA champions Milwaukee Bucks eliminated the Chicago Bulls with 116-100 victory in Game 5 on Wednesday.
The Bucks' star Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 33 points while his teammates Pat Connaughton contributed with 20 points and Bobby Portis with 17 rebounds at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
"After Game 2, we kind of talked about how we know what the deal was," Antetokounmpo said, "The team knew what the deal was. We knew what we had to do."
Milwaukee Bucks managed to win series 4-1 despite playing Game 5 without one of their top performers, Khris Middleton, who sprained the medial collateral ligament in his left knee during Game 2.
The Bucks will face Boston Celtics -- who swept Brooklyn with 4-0 series win -- in the Eastern Conference semifinals, with first game to be played on Sunday in Boston.
- Golden State eliminate Nuggets
The Golden State Warriors eliminated the Denver Nuggets by reaching 4-1 in the series, after their 102-98 victory on Wednesday in Game 5.
Despite Nuggets' star Nikola Jokic's 30 points and 19 rebounds, the Warriors managed to came out on top with Stephen Curry's 30 points at Chase Center in San Francisco.
"Tonight was just a weird feeling because we hadn't been there in a while," said Curry, "We wanted it so bad, kind of made it a lot more difficult on ourselves. But we still remember how to do it, which is a good feeling."
In the Western Conference semifinals, the Warriors will take on the winner of the Grizzlies vs. Timberwolves series, in which the Grizzlies are leading series 3-2.
