World 100m champion Coleman provisionally suspended
US sprinter suspended for violating anti-doping rule, missing drug tests

ANKARA (AA) – World Champion US sprinter Christian Coleman was provisionally suspended from sports for missing anti-doping tests for three times.
"The AIU confirms a provisional suspension against Christian Coleman of the USA for whereabouts failures, a violation of the @WorldAthletics Anti-Doping Rules," Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said on Twitter on Wednesday.
The latest sanction against 24-year-old Coleman may cause him to miss next year's Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Meanwhile Coleman slammed the AIU on social media as an official, who was said to visit him to test in December, did not call or reach the US athlete when he was not at home.
Coleman said that he was out for Christmas shopping and was only "5 minutes away at the mall" at that time.
He won gold medals in 100 meter and 4x100 meter relay events during the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha.
